Nestled on a gently sloping knoll on the north edge of Yountville, Ghost Block vineyard is named in honor of the historic Pioneer Cemetery for which it borders. The vineyard is 16 acres planted to Cabernet Sauvignon.
Today is the public release of the 2006 Ghost Block Yountville, Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and with only 800 six bottle packs produced, the wine will sell quickly. In its first vintage, the 2005 Ghost Block Yountville, Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon was rated 93 points by Robert Parker and with only 400 six bottle packs produced, the wine was sold out in 2 months.
